Now that we have our presents...

Hope everyone's happy with their gifts! ;)

There have been requests from some staff to the elves to find out who their santa are! They are really happy with their presents and want to thank the santas themselves!! :)

*Elves have sworn to secrecy when we took on the tasks of maintaining THE list! Now that the exchange is over, the list has been destroyed and our memory erased! =þ*

Will the santas wanna identify yourselves? If so, you could email to your santees? or You could post a note in the comments box to the right. Give a few hints? Start some guessing games? =)

I will name a few staff who wanted to know their santas are...do email your delighted santees who are waiting eagerly!

I believe the list goes on...since we all thoughtfully bought our santees amazing gifts!

What's next? *aka tips from the Elves!*

Congratulations to those who have drawn the names of whom they will be buying a present for! Because it means you will be getting one on 18th Dec too!!! =)

So if you are wondering what you should be doing now that you have drawn the name of a colleague...here's a guide:

1) If you do not know who the colleague you have drawn is, ask around or even better, check the org chart! That helps to put a face to the name you have just drawn!

2) Having the name, gender and face doesn't seem enough to help you in your gift search? It's time for information gathering! And may I quote our fellow colleague, Jenny Tan... it's time to throw a banquet for those who are close to the person you drew! *P/S: banquet might be a little expensive, but a coffee/tea will be well-appreciated!*

3) Still no leads? Then it's time to get to know the person yourself! Be careful not to appear TOO eager! Our fellow colleagues can be very clever indeed!

4) With all the information gathered, you will find a gift in no time!

5) After getting the present, it's time to deliver it discreetly to either JnJ (Jacqueline and Jenny Ang) who will be snapping shots of the presents as they come in, and posting them online here! You can submit anytime from tomorrow onwards till 11th December 2006!

6) Stay tuned to this blog and watch out for your own present to be featured here!!

7) While waiting, it's time to post greetings and appreciations for your fellow colleagues on this blog! It's been a long and challenging year and NOW is a good time to thank each other for the support and assistance from everyone else! *Please direct all comments, greetings, appreciation messages to JnJ for posting on this blog!*

Anonymous Gift Exchange

Message from Santa's Elves,

This Christmas, Santa’s Broke and we are taking matters into our own hands!

How the Anonymous Gift Exchange will happen:

1) All Staff (Even if you are on leave) are to draw a name (of another staff) from a red bag (arranged by Jacqueline Tan and Jenny Ang – JnJ for short) -->This is the person you will be buying a gift for.

2) Find out more about the colleague you are buying the present for!! Likes, Dislikes, Favourites, Hobbies, etc... No idea how to get the information? Inviting them or their close colleagues for lunch is a good way to start!

3) It’s time for some serious present-hunting!!! ***Recommended value of present at S$5.00 or higher, if you feel generous enough***

4) Important note: To ensure anonymity, please do not hand-write anything on the present! *Hint: Use your creativity to indicate the recipient.*

5) Deliver the gift discreetly to JnJ at HQ Lvl 6 by 11th December 2006. *P/S: We need some time to consolidate the presents, stocktake, etc.*

6) Attend the Christmas Party on 18th December 2006 and receive the gift that is specially hand-picked by your fellow colleague, not forgetting to indulge in the food and merry-making at the same time! =) *Gifts for staff who are on leave will be in the safe hands of JnJ*
